OPENING

My first, first half of the half of the first age,
Precedes my Second and Third, seeking their way.
My Fourth is inspired, my Fifth is in rage,
But, without protest, follows my Fourth and the roman alpha.
My Sixth is hidden at the limits of ETERNITY.
My Seventh, standing, spits his venom.
To find my all, just to be wise,
Because the Truth, in truth, will not be a Devin’s affair.

Bourges is the Opening

Bé is the first half of a baby, the first age;
WHERE? we ask when looking for our way;
R because the air is inspired;
G is in the word rage and follows my fourth, the R, and the Roman alpha A;
E is at the ends of the word ETERNITY written in capital letters;
S, standing like a snake spitting its venom.

FACTS
Wise also means Sage
The archaic French word ‘Devin’ suggests a soothsayer, so perhaps the opposite of wisdom, black magic or guesswork.
IMAGE
The cock is crowing, symbol the morning of the puzzle.
QUESTIONS
Why is ETERNITY capitalised? This word has something to do with the starting place of the Supersolution
French family names are normally in all caps for official documents: Often, when writing one’s surname on official documents, the French will write their last name in all caps. For example: Pierre RICHARD or Victor HUGO.

In Essence, An Eternity Has No Limits. So It's One Image... But In The Framework Of The Game, It Has Two! Friendships -- Max
According to Max, the capital letters of the book are of no importance, except in the word eternity of the puzzle 530

The final 2 lines suggest to just follow simple thinking, no need for magic.

L'éternité is a Poem by Arthur Rimbaud 1 2
Arthur Rimbaud was born in Charleville-Mézières, died in Marseille‎, age 37.
He wrote L'éternité in 1872 at 17 years of age

Start in Haguenau, the town at the "extremities" of the 3 towns listed on the Sentinels. In capitals refers to HAGUENAU. -How written on map
First line from 520 "Between them, there would be only two intervals if they were aligned." Triangle.
Look at intersection of the "Line we will not regret" and "Rue du Triangle" (our exact starting spot, a road just east of the city centre)

How to travel, Game Measure & Game Direction (w,e,s,n)

There is more debate about this clue than almost any other. However, Max said this clue give an "important thing" and many people believe this is the game measure of 33cm.

The visual shows a compass. The perimeter is 33 cm, and Max was quick to confirm the diameter of 10.5cm when he was asked about this.

By the ross and the coachman simply means travel by vehicle.

By the compass and the foot means you will need to walk the final part.

Ross is a normal word for "horse", alongside Pferd, in many parts of southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This is backed up by artwork showing horse and carriage, and a man walking.

This is the right path only if the arrow is aimed at the heart

My first multiplies by gaiety.
My Second offers you space,
My Third from the air, and my Fourth from the water.
When he’s lying down, my Fifth hums.
My sixth is worth a hundred, and my seventh is just one node.
My eighth tastes like laurel,
while my ninth, with astonishment, stays behind.
My tenth is always naked when there’s a link.
My eleventh, finally, is the unknown.
Find my All, and through the Opening you will see the light.

A RONCEVAUX

A because the A is multiplied to form a sound like laughter "AhAhAh"
space between two words;
R for the air we are offered;▟ ai
O for the water we are offered;▟ h2
N when lying down, looks like the "Z" symbol of snoring;
C in Roman numerals means "cent";
E is only E (part of noeud);▟ no ud
V is the sign of victory that is traditionally rewarded by laurels;▟ ictory
A for an "Aaaahhh" of astonishment;▟ ah
U explained by a French grammatical rule;
X, is the unknown (in mathematics solutions for example).

I believe this is one of the "false trails in the riddles"

A RONCEVAUX seems to refer to the war of 778, where "the Basques ambushed and totally wiped out the rear guard of the Frankish army", Not the "Heart", therefore it is a "false trail" A RONCEVAUX seems to also support this as the A in front suggests an event rather than a place. The artwork also shows a sword in the rock. (It looks a bit like a head)

When we replace each atomic mass with the symbol of the corresponding chemical element, we find the mysterious phrase "The key is on a black perched ship." (FR "la clef se cache sur un navire noir perché")

Probable meaning of "WHEN AL-MAR ALLIES TO PRAENESTE FIBULA, DARKNESS SHINE"
The Moors are the origin of our Arabic numerals, and the fibula of Praeneste is the origin of our Latin alphabet. According to Jkcn, these are two births, a term to be compared to the IS "born turnkey". The alliance of the Moors and the Fibula therefore symbolizes, in a very general way, the association of numbers and letters. This association is so general, moreover, that the title could turn out to be of another use.

English: The pleasure is in the search the reward is to be here

The Black Perched Ship is "Chapelle St Leon" (Looks like it in the right light, viewed from Dabo) It is also the "becalmed Nave" Becalmed means no wind can affect it. Nave means ship, it also means part of a church.

UT QUEANT LAXIS

At 2424-42-424-44-224-24-42-24, borrows the orthogonal.
To find the Spiral with four centers,
560,606 measures, it is far.
But by the Mega it is a million times less.

This clue reveals the town of Carignan, and at 185km we arrive at Dabo.

UT QUEANT LAXIS suggests the use of musical notes. The presence of 2424-42-424-44-224-24-42-24 in the text and a walrus in the visual suggest that we use Morse code. The French for walrus is ‘le morse.’ The music staff and clue title suggest we consider musical measures. In a music 2/4 measure, a long note is white and a 1/2 measure and a brief note is black and a 1/4 measure. So we use this concept and 2 = line and 4 = a point. This works! The decryption gives: CARIGNAN.

This clue reveals the town of Carignan, and from there, at 560,606 measures we find a ‘Spiral with four centres.’ No one seems to know what this means, is it a feature on the map, or do we trace a spiral design?

The Archimedean spiral possesses approached constructions by arcs of a circle, as the spiral with 4 centers (arcs of a circle are colored with the same color as the corresponding centers); this construction becomes widespread with any number of centers.
What is an Archimedean position? a reliably certain position or starting point that serves as the basis for argument or reasoning. (This certainly fits in with this location being the centre of further searches.) 3 Clues point to Dabo, for emphasis.

Apparently Dabo had 4 "centers" in past history.

The spiral is most likely the road up to the "Chapelle St Leon" on top of the hill.
Read the lookout distance markers at each end of "Chapelle St Leon" For sure 4 centers will be listed. Also one will point to

First part is well explained.

Apollo goes to 650m altitude and shoots, but which direction? A "siderial day" is a rotation of the earth of 360deg. This suggests a circle. Apollo shoots from an altitude at 650m, guess what, it's "Chapelle St Leon" again. (You have to find an arrow at 650m height, where it hits land, travelling horizontally. Really, only the Pyrenees are at that altitude on that circle)

AD AUGUSTA PER ANGUSTA

When, at Carusburc, you will have Albion in the back,
Look for the Opening that reveals the Heavenly Light.
Do not wait, do not ask for your rest, But get ready to walk on the water.
Twice, Neptune will come to your rescue And lead you away from the icy North.
Pursue your way and do not interrupt your journey
Before seeing through the opening, the becalmed Nave.
Without deviating an inch, draw a line, and you will not regret what you did.

This clue reveals the town of Cherbourg, Then through Bourges, we arrive at Dabo.

AD AUGUSTA PER ANGUSTA > "He Conquers Who Conquers Himself"
‘Seek the Opening that reveals the Heavenly Light’ may refer to the ‘light from the sky’ in Golfe Juan and the previous clue. A line connecting Cherbourg, Bourges and Golfe Juan is perfectly aligned.

PER ANGUSTA AD AUGUSTA is apparently a Latin proverb that says, "To high places by narrow roads" suggesting a road to a location?

8000 measures in following clue is about the distance from Dabo to Chapelle St Leon by the "narrow" road. 8000 measures, because it's not an exact measurement, everyone's speedo's are different.

Somehow, possibly lost in translation, this clue points to Dabo and not Chapelle St Leon. More than likely the map does not reveal the spiral on the hill yet. We don't find that until we visit.

The artwork shows the line missing the "spiral"

Goldenowlhunt.com website calls it a "shell" on 560 page.

WHEN ALL IS REVEALED

Back to the Ponant, seek the Sentinels.
At 8000 measures from there, they are waiting for you.
Find them, you need to review them.

From Dabo, we go to the lookout we need to examine. We find 3 towns listed, "Haguenau, Hochfeldon & Marmoutier"
After examination, we realise that the ETERNITY (in capitals) Refers to the furthest town, Haguenau, which happens to be written in capitals in the 3814ET IGN Map. (Just happens to be same number as it was in 1993, but a different shaped map) Haguenau is also right on the line from 560 "draw a line, and you will not regret what you did."

The road is very close to east from Dabo, heading to Chapelle St Leon. The sentinels are the Lookout distance markers at each end of the Chapelle St Leon. We need to examine them. It is that simple!

Contrary to common belief, the "them" does not refer to the "sentinels" I think, something else depicted on the sentinels.

455km to Puy de Dome, it should be listed on the sentinels. The four centers will be listed on the sentinels also.

Examination of the "Sentinels" shows 3 towns in France. These 3 towns are also very, very close to the lin in 560 "Without deviating an inch, draw a line, and you will not regret what you did." Haguenau, Hochfeldon & Marmoutier

go 2.8km, to the small cross-road, a dirt road.
Could be 75m down track, 10m to side. 4 spots to look.

A few days ago I saw a Madit that Sentinels cannot be seen from 8000 measures. (Cannot see where I saw that yet)
The adverb "there" in the second line alludes to where you are, with your back to the ponant, at this stage of the game. From this place, it would be impossible for you to physically see the sentries if you were there. source

Supersolution & Remainders

There Is No Remainder In "B"

The remainders inevitably appear in the decryption which leads to the solutions of the enigmas.

Yes, Each Remainder Is Used Only Once. Yes, It Is Better To Order These Elements Following The Order Given By The "B" (I Given An Explanation On This Subject 3 Or 4 Days Ago). Friendships -- Max

When you have the "second card", the remainders are more obvious to appreciate.

The remainders are undetectable enigma by enigma; there's no way to detect leftovers along the way.

The remainders you will understand when you are at the end of the course. A synonym for "remainders" is "recoupment(s)", not "synthesis". Compared to a police investigation, the "synthesis" is what makes it possible to say "the guy is guilty", while the "cross-checking" is what makes it possible to say that this clue holds water or not.

In Max's Other Hunts
In these treasure hunts, Max used various permanent markers: a cross, a reservoir, an obelisk, a small oratory, a well, a panel, a statue, or a menhir, for example. He also used trees, stumps, which are not really perennial: indeed, even a centuries-old tree is fragile in a storm. It is then necessary to count a certain distance (between 74 cm and 6 meters) in a certain direction (E/S/N/O or left/right), from the permanent marker, to find the spot. So if there is a marker (which Max has never confirmed), it must be not far from the spot.
